Nick is a warm, down-to-earth Registered Organisational & General Psychologist who loves helping people feel more settled, confident and fulfilled in their work and everyday lives. Inclusive and affirming practice is important to Nick. He is client-centred in his approach. He takes time to understand what matters most to each person and works collaboratively on practical, achievable goals; whether that’s building confidence, navigating a tough workplace, returning to work after time off, or finding a healthier balance between work and home life. His style is gentle, thoughtful and curious, with room for humour and honesty.
This background means he has a real appreciation of the pressures modern life can bring-busy family schedules, school demands, work stress, burnout, change, and tricky relationships. He weaves this understanding into his therapeutic work with individuals and families.
He holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Master of Psychology (Organisational), and is endorsed with AHPRA as an Organisational Psychologist. Over the past decade, Nick has worked in well-known organisations including Xero, Atlassian, Davidson and KPMG, where he has focused on wellbeing, team health, leadership, and workplace culture. Nick has also contributed to university-based research and co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles in clinical psychology, adding depth to his understanding of mental health and brain–behaviour links. This means he brings a strong understanding of the real pressures people face at work—burnout, workload, change, tricky team dynamics and the stress of leadership—and blends this with evidence-based psychology to support his clients
At MyChoice Psychology, Nick offers a welcoming, homely space where children, young people and adults can feel safe to talk things through, make sense of their experiences, and work towards meaningful, sustainable change.
